Camenschi Valeriu from Cahul launched his business in vineyard in 1998. The 1st loan of 2 400 USD for 12 months helped to plant a new vineyard and maintain the 4-year-old one. The 2nd loan of 3 200 USD also for 12 months financed the development of the new vineyard. The 3rd loan of 6 200 USD for 12 months will be applied for once the second is repaid to expand the bottling operation. On a 3-hectare land plot, he cultivates Traminer, Moldova, Pinot and Cabernet grapes, the bulk of which is sold to the local wineries as raw produce, while the remainder is used for wine production and local sale. The entrepreneur’s dream is to market his brand of wine abroad. We wish him great success!
